Meet the Artist

Dennis

Dennis

Starting at a young age, Dennis had the aspiration of being a successful artist. He started out working in an animation studio before becoming an independent artist full time. For him, drawing has always been a form of creativity and expression which is why he pays extreme attention to the details while letting his art style shine in every portrait.

Dennis is happily married with two kids, and one of his favorite things to do is hang out and play with his kids. Outside of spending time with his family, he enjoys sketching, watching movies and traveling!

Emilio

Emilio grew up surrounded by artists – his brother and sister are artists, as well as a neighbor who specialized in arts in crafts. Exposed to artwork of all kinds beginning early in life, little Emilio quickly found a passion for it himself.

Beginning as a hobby, by the time he graduated college, he decided to take his artwork seriously. He began working as an online digital illustrator, and hasn’t looked back since.

Coming from a large family of six kids, Emilio is very close with his family and also enjoys spending time with his girlfriend. In his spare time Emilio goes biking 1-2 times each week, loves spending time in the mountains, and goes camping whenever he gets the chance. His long term plan is very simple: to live a fruitful and contented life with his future family.

For Emilio, drawing is not just a job or something he does to make a living. He believes that although it’s good to make a living while doing what you love, beyond that, drawing or art is a part of him. It’s in his DNA and it’s his passion.

Franklin

Franklin

When someone taught Franklin how to use a tablet and drawing tools, he was immediately hooked. At first it was just a hobby, but when he started to earn money through his hard work, he started getting serious about it. He now aspires to be successful as an artist while being able to provide for his family’s needs. He also hopes to someday build a business and travel around the world with his family.

Fun fact: Franklin’s wife is also a part of LuluCartoons' team! Through their love for art, they help each other sustain the needs of their family. In his spare time he loves to play Ultimate Frisbee, spend time with his family, and bond through mobile games.

For Franklin, drawing is a blessing from God. It has provided for him and his family financially and helps them toward success.

Kara

While Kara loved creating artwork since she was in grade school, she only started getting serious about her artwork in 2014. Since then she’s successfully pursued her dream to work full time as an illustrator and be known for her artwork.

Kara has also shared her love for art with her kids, two girls, who are now also creating artwork of their own. Her husband Franklin, is also an artists at LuluCartoons and they both enjoy their work – it’s as if their hobbies have become their daily routine!

Fun fact about Kara: She is a woman that enjoys doing it all – everything from crafting and drawing to sports. Ultimately, her love for her pen and tablet wins as the favorite!

For Kara, drawing is a life saver. It helped her provide for her family and helped her reach her goals while pursuing her passion. It has also taught her a lot of things (unlimited learning so to speak) and helped her in all aspects of her life. Art is not just a way to provide for her family, it’s also her favorite pastime and stress reliever.
